Gospel Hands Bible Camp

Gospel Hands Bible Camp

Lutheran Friends of the Deaf offers “Gospel Hands” Bible Camp for children (ages 6 to 12) who are both Deaf and hearing, held on Aug. 19 - 21, located on the beautiful 86-acre Mill Neck Manor campus in Mill Neck, N.Y.

The three-day program is based on a unique series of ASL Bible Story books and videos for children created by Lutheran Friends of the Deaf and supported by a grant from the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League. This series of 12 written and ASL Bible Stories for children, brings the Gospel into the lives of children by combining American Sign Language, expressive artwork, the written word and video.

Campers will enjoy learning and practicing Sign Language through reading the Bible Stories, creating long-lasting friendships by interacting with one another, an exclusive tour of the Mill Neck Manor, arts and crafts, games and more.
