The Apple Festival
About the Event
Every year, the Apple Festival at Mill Neck Manor draws tens of thousands of returning visitors and many more new friends. The festival annually brings the best of the autumn season to Long Island, making a trip to the beautiful Mill Neck campus over Columbus Day weekend irresistible.
The 2019 Apple Festival, which is to be held on Saturday and Sunday, October 12 and 13, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., promises to be better than ever, with the return of ripe apples, handmade country crafts, seasonable produce, grilled bratwurst, children’s activities and many more activities throughout the weekend.
Located on the grounds of a historic Gold Coast estate, between Oyster Bay and Bayville, the Apple Festival has it all. Visitors will find a wide variety of cheeses in the “Cheese House,” and plenty of mouth-watering baked goods, jellies, fudge and strudels. The “Country Store” also features meat and bacon products.
The children’s activities area will feature a fantastic array of games and activities, as well as face painting and a pumpkin patch.
The Apple Festival also showcases the latest in Deaf technology, sign language novelty items and books. Each year, Mill Neck Manor alumni attend the Apple Festival as a “homecoming,” with the event bringing the heart of the Long Island Deaf Community together.
Be sure to take a chance on our 50/50! Tickets are only $10 each, and the winner, picked on Sunday at 3 p.m., receives half the net profit of the money collected. Over the years, winners have taken home over $10,000!
