The Apple Festival
About the Event
Thousands of visitors jumped into the fall season at Mill Neck Family’s annual Apple Festival in 2019, but because of COVID-19, our Festival will be much different this Columbus Day weekend, Oct. 10 and 11. A long-standing tradition in the Long Island community since 1957, this year’s festival, which fully benefits children and adults who are Deaf, will be a virtual drive through where your goods will be brought right to your vehicle’s window. You will still be able to purchase and bring home 12 different varieties of apples and delicious fruit pies.
Home to the Mill Neck Family of Organizations—committed to creating a world in which Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals are included, empowered, celebrated and embraced as equals through quality educational, employment, audiological and spiritual programs and services.
A huge thank you to all of our attendees, sponsors, friends, family, staff and especially the hundreds of volunteers who have supported us for the past 63 years. This festival would not have been possible without all of your dedicated support! If you are unable to drop by, you can still participate in our largest fundraiser, simply visit our donation page and make a contribution today!
