Day Habilitation Program

Founded in 2000, the Mill Neck Day Habilitation Program provides support to Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and/or non-verbal adults with a range of disabilities and provides functional and enjoyable activities that enable people to meet their individual goals and become more independent in their daily living, socialization, communication and leisure activities.

Volunteering
Day Habilitation is very active in the community with Meals on Wheels, Hands on Huntington rock CAN roll, Last Hope Animal Shelter, Brookhaven Hospital, The Life Enrichment Center, United Cerebral Palsy, Southampton Hospital, teaching American Sign Language to the elderly and more.

Activities
Day Habilitation provides functional and enjoyable activities that enable people to meet their individual goals and become more independent in their daily living, socialization, communication and leisure activities. Some of our site-based activities include:
