Volunteering at the Apple Festival
Registration is now OPEN for 2018 Apple Festival Volunteers!
On Saturday and Sunday, October 6 and 7, 2018, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Mill Neck Family of Organizations will host its annual APPLE FESTIVAL. Thousands of Long Island families will return to our beautiful campus to enjoy this autumn tradition!
What’s quite amazing is the Festival is run entirely by faithful volunteers. Without the time and talents of volunteer workers, this event would never be possible. Volunteers are the lifeblood, and from its inception, the most enthusiastic and supportive volunteers have been our school’s parents, the parents of former students, members of service organizations and friends of Mill Neck Manor.
If another family member or friend would also like to volunteer, please copy the form, have them fill it out and mail it back, or simply have him/her register online. Confirmation letters, with assignment details, will be mailed to volunteers at the end of September. On Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, we will be hosting the Apple Festival “Kick-Off” Breakfast for 2018 volunteers from 10 a.m. in the Mill Neck Manor. The breakfast gives us an opportunity to recognize our long-time volunteers and orientate our new ones. Please indicate on the volunteer form (below) if you plan to attend the “Kick-Off” Breakfast.
Since our first official Festival in 1957, proceeds raised from the event have been used to support our programs and services for people who are Deaf or who have other special communication needs.

PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers receive a food voucher and parking pass. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer.
