Mill Neck Services, Inc. offers American Sign Language (ASL) classes at Mill Neck Center for Deaf Services building in Hicksville. As with other languages, the Deaf Community, in response to cultural and technological changes, is constantly introducing new vocabulary. Tour the Mill Neck Manor House
Select Sundays, April-December, 2016

 

Step back in time to experience and savor the mansion’s exquisite appointments. Learn about its history – and about the life of Lillian Sefton Dodge and Mill Neck Manor School for the Deaf. Tours are available to the public by appointment only once a month on Sundays, and select weekdays. Wine Tasting & Food Pairing

An exclusive evening with director and actress Trudie Styler and world-renowned musician Sting, cofounders of the Rainforest Fund.  Four vintage reds produced at Il Palagio, Sting and Trudie’s Tuscan estate, will be accompanied by delectable hors d’oeuvres created by celebrated Long Island chef/restaurateur Tom Schaudel. Evening also features exciting silent auction items. Online bidding for the silent auction opens at 10 am on Monday, May 16.

 

Invitational Golf Tournament 
& Spa Day

Sign Language Camp
for Hearing Kids
Session  I: July 25-26, 2016 
Session II: August 1-5, 2016

 

Mill Neck Foundation’s Sign Language Camp for Hearing Kids holds two week-long sessions for children ages 8 to 16 who want to learn American Sign Language.  Campers learn sign language while participating in typical camp activities like water games and theme dress-up days. Classics Regatta 
Cocktail Party

Our 5th annual regatta sails out of Oyster Bay. In conjunction with Oakcliff Sailing Center, The WaterFront Center and various local establishments, classic yachts and spectator vessels participate in an evening race. Our Annual “Apple Fest”
Saturday & Sunday, October 8 & 9, 2016
